Temples, religious trusts and places of worship

A website for your temple that keeps timings, festivals and sevas current

Devotees planning a visit want the timings, the festival calendar, how to book a seva and how to reach the temple; a family abroad wants to know how to contribute. Creatin Web designs and builds a website that holds all of it respectfully, with a dashboard and an Android app the trust's office runs.

Festival dates and special timings are posted by the office the day they are decided.

The problem

What goes wrong with most websites in this business

Timings change for festivals and nobody knows

Special darshan hours, closures for rituals, extended hours in a festival week: discovered at the gate.

Sevas and their rates are a printed list at the counter

Devotees from out of town want to know the sevas offered and how to arrange one before they travel.

The history and the architecture go untold

A temple with a story of centuries has a website with a phone number, or none.

The solution

What your Creatin Web website does about it

Timings and sevas as content

Daily timings, the sevas offered with their rates and how to arrange them, written by the office and changed in a minute.

Festival notices and events

The festival calendar as events, and notices for special timings and closures, posted from the app.

History, architecture and the deity in photos

The story of the temple, the legends, the architecture and the festivals in a gallery and on pages written by the trust.

Donation information as text, and seva enquiries

How to contribute, the trust's registration and 80G details if applicable, in your own words, with an enquiry form for sevas and hall bookings.

Contact form inbox of a café dashboard listing messages from website visitors
Every message from your contact form, with the visitor's phone and email.

Your sections

What a website for temples, religious trusts and places of worship usually has

Each one is a section of your dashboard and a part of your public website. They are chosen for your business when the site is built; a gallery, a blog, testimonials, SEO controls, analytics and staff accounts come with every site.

What it does not do

There is no online donation payment, no seva booking with payment and no live darshan queue. Donation and seva details are text; devotees pay at the counter or through the channels the trust states.

See it

Inside the dashboard

Real screens of the dashboard, filled with sample data. The business in them is not a real one, and not yours; the sections are the ones you would use.

Notices section of a school dashboard with published, scheduled and draft notices and a pinned important notice
Notices: publish now, schedule for later, and pin the important one to the top.
Events and announcements section of a café dashboard listing upcoming events with dates
Events & announcements: what is coming up, with the date and time.
Gallery section of the dashboard with an upload box and a grid of captioned photos
Gallery: upload a photo with a caption and it is on your website.
Team section listing team members with photo, role and a short profile
Team & leadership: the people behind the business, with photos and roles.

Questions

Questions from temples, religious trusts and places of worship

Can devotees donate on the website?

Not through the site. The page can state how to contribute, with the trust's bank or UPI details and registration information in your words; payment happens through those channels.

Can we publish the festival calendar for the year?

Yes. Each festival is an event with its dates and description, and the calendar is shown on its own page and on the home page as dates approach.

Can seva rates and timings be in Kannada?

Yes. Everything the office types, in Kannada, English or both, is shown as written.

Can we take hall bookings for functions?

Devotees enquire with the date and the occasion; the office confirms. There is no online booking or payment.
