Hostels and PG accommodation

A website for your PG or hostel that answers the rent question before the visit

A student or a new employee searching for a PG wants to know the rent, the sharing, what is included, the rules and how far it is from work. Creatin Web designs and builds a website that answers all of that with photos, with a dashboard and an Android app so a vacancy or a changed rent is live in a minute.

Enquiries arrive with the sharing type and the move-in date, so you reply only when there is a bed.

The problem

What goes wrong with most websites in this business

Listings on portals go stale and bring the wrong calls

Rents and vacancies change monthly; a portal listing shows last quarter's and the phone rings for rooms you don't have.

Rules and inclusions are argued about later

Food, Wi-Fi, laundry, visitor hours, notice period: unclear online, disputed at move-out.

Parents want to see the place

A parent in another city decides on photos of the room, the mess and the gate.

The solution

What your Creatin Web website does about it

Rooms by sharing, with rents

Single, double, triple as rooms with photos, rent, deposit and what is included. Mark a type full when it is.

Amenities and rules, written once

Food, Wi-Fi, laundry, power backup, visitor hours and the notice period, plainly, where everyone can read them.

The mess menu and the location

A weekly menu as a notice, and the address with nearby offices, colleges and bus stops.

Enquiries with the move-in date

The booking form asks for the sharing type, the move-in date and the length of stay, with a notification on your phone.

Booking enquiries inbox showing each guest's dates, number of guests, room and message
Booking enquiries arrive with the dates, number of guests and room already filled in.

Your sections

What a website for hostels and pg accommodation usually has

Each one is a section of your dashboard and a part of your public website. They are chosen for your business when the site is built; a gallery, a blog, testimonials, SEO controls, analytics and staff accounts come with every site.

What it does not do

There is no live vacancy count, no online booking with deposit and no rent payment through the website. Enquiries reach you with a notification; you confirm the bed and collect the deposit as you do now.

See it

Inside the dashboard

Real screens of the dashboard, filled with sample data. The business in them is not a real one, and not yours; the sections are the ones you would use.

Rooms section of a resort dashboard listing room types with photos and rates
Rooms: each room type with its photos, rate and capacity.
Gallery section of the dashboard with an upload box and a grid of captioned photos
Gallery: upload a photo with a caption and it is on your website.
Notices section of a school dashboard with published, scheduled and draft notices and a pinned important notice
Notices: publish now, schedule for later, and pin the important one to the top.
Testimonials section listing customer quotes with ratings and a shown or hidden switch for each
Testimonials: add a customer's words, choose the order, and show or hide each one.

Questions

Questions from hostels and pg accommodation

Can we mark a room type as full?

Yes. Hide the room type or add 'full' to its name from the app, and show it again when a bed frees up.

Can residents pay rent on the website?

No. The website shows rents and takes enquiries; rent is collected the way you do now, and your UPI details can be on the page.

Can we have separate pages for the ladies' and gents' PGs?

Yes. Each building can have its own rooms, photos, rules and address on the same website.

Can we publish the weekly mess menu?

Yes, as a notice you update each week from the app, or as a page you edit.
